GEOGRAPHY HOMEWORK & EXTRA CREDIT!

Homework:
1) physical features map
2) 10 events & years - bring a list of 10 events to class tomorrow. 5 should be before you were born and 5 should be after you were born. Events can be ANYTHING important to you (ex: when parents were married, siblings born, the invention of ice cream, when are supposed to graduate from high school.... ETC....). You also need the YEAR the event occurred or will occur.

EXTRA CREDIT: Answer my riddles dealing with European physical features:

1) This river travels through 5 Euro Countries
It starts in the Forest that is Black.
It forms many borders between nations
And ends in the Sea that is Black.

2) These are a popular vacation spot
They run through 7 Euro Countries
If you ever get to go
Don’t forget your Skis!

3) This feature is unique
Two continents it divides
However,
The same country is on both sides

4)This large waterway is important
It separates 2 very different culture regions.
Pirates used to sail here
With many many legions.

5)This Peninsula is home to an ancient culture
One with philosophers and teachers
Today, it’s seven countries have many features.

6)Separating two important powers
This waterway has seen many fights
Now, its chunnel is one of Europe’s top sites.

7)These mountains run through a very populated country
They form a very historic and scenic route
Try not to offend anyone if you go
For they will surely give you the boot!
