Extra Credit for Day One!
Greetings. The extra credit questions are as follows:
Geography: We will study the people of the world. If you could travel ANYWHERE in the world: where would go? why? what would you do there? who would you take?
Career Explorations: We will study the 'world of work' and build our own town. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? What do you need to do to get there?
Your answers should be in paragraph form and given to Mrs. Doc-Wade at the start of class.
If you previously answered these questions and submitted them to Mrs. Doc-Wade, you do not need to resubmit them; you will earn more stickers than those you complete it today.

2010 - 2011 School Year
As you will learn, your homework and basic class information can be found on this page for Geography 8 and Career Explorations.
Often, I will have extra credit questions that will only be announced through the blog - so... you'll have to check it out in order to earn extra credit (stickers that can be cashed in for pencils, points, and homework passes). Here is your first one!!
Geography - We will study the people of the world. If you could travel ANYWHERE in the world: where would you go? why? what would you do there? who would you take?
Career explorations - We will study the 'world of work' and build our own town. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? What do you need to do to get there?
Your answers should be written in paragraph format with complete sentences. Extra Credit Stickers will be awarded based on how well you explain your answers NOT what your answers are.
In order to get the extra credit, you must E-MAIL it to me prior to the first day of school (pdougherty@northschuylkill.net) OR drop it in my school mailbox when you come in to the building on the first day. For this extra credit assignment, I will not accept anything in class.
I look forward to meeting you! Please let me know if there are any questions or concerns prior to the first day!
